Fagron offers special classes in “The Art of Compounding.” Compounding has seen a marked resurgence in the past few years. Patients are asking for it. Physicians, dentists, veterinarians, and nurse practitioners are widely prescribing therapy that requires compounding. The Triad of Care among patient-pharmacist-physician is at work. Now you can learn more about compounding opportunities, equipment, and techniques from Fagron, a company involved in compounding chemicals, equipment, and supplies for over in the U.S. for over 30 years.
Fagron is pleased to invite you to our training facility in St. Paul, Minnesota and our NEW state-of-the-art facility in Scottsdale, Arizona, offering monthly classes in basic compounding skills. In response to your many requests for assistance in building and/or refreshing your compounding knowledge, Fagron brings together a group of well-trained, knowledgeable individuals to teach basic compounding techniques.
Participants attend hands-on sessions covering a multitude of extemporaneously compounded dosage forms. You will learn about and be exposed to a wide variety of equipment and supplies and will receive help in evaluating the potential for using them within your own practice.
Discussions on making patients aware of your compounding capabilities are included. You will also be involved in a focused discussion on USP 795/ 797 and compounding documentation systems.
