- Where do compounding pharmacies get their supplies?
- Most compounding pharmacies buy consumables from a wholesale supplier that also carries APIs and bases, so ingredients, containers and packaging arrive on one order. - What supplies are needed to set up a compounding cleanroom?
- A sterile suite typically needs cleanroom garb (gowns, hoods, booties, sterile gloves), low-lint wipes and disinfectants, sterile and non-sterile vials, syringes and filters, plus dedicated weighing and transfer tools kept inside the classified space. - What sizes of ointment jars and tubes do you stock?
- Single- and double-wall ointment jars from 0.25 oz to 16 oz, plus metal and plastic ointment tubes with clips and boxes. Oral dosing syringes run from 1 mL to 60 mL in amber and clear.
